Tools in photoshop

Rectangular Marquee Tool (M) :
By using this tool we can make selections on our image, in a rectangular shape. This changes the area of our image that is affected by other tools or actions to be within the defined shape.

Move Tool (V) :
We can move things using this tool. Usually we use it to move a Layer around after it has been placed.

Crop Tool (C) :
This Tool works similarly to the Rectangular Marquee tool. The difference is when we press the [Enter/Return] key, it crops our image to the size of the box. Any information that was on the outside of the box is now gone. Not permanently, we can still undo.

Brush Tool (B) :
It paints on our image, in whatever color we have selected, and whatever size we have selected. Here we've used the brush tool to fill the color we can also use paint bucket tool.

Horizontal Type Tool (T) :

It makes text. we can click a single point, and start typing right away.

Hand Tool (T) :
It’s for moving our entire image within a window. So if we’re zoomed in and our image area is larger than the window, we can use the Hand Tool to navigate around our image.

Zoom Tool (Z) :
It allows us to zoom into our image. Hold the [Alt] key to zoom out. Holding the [Shift] key will zoom all of the windows we have open at the same time.

Blur Tool (R) :
It makes things blurry. Click and drag to make things blurry. The more we click and drag, the blurrier things get.

Text formatting :

When the type tool active, it offers font family, style, size, anti-aliasing, alignment, and color etc.

Rasterizing a graphic :
  • The process of conversion text, vector, smart object to raster graphic is called rasterization.
  • In order to make changes or manipulate the vector graphic we need to rasterize and then apply the changes.
