Multiple Columns

A Column is a vertical series of cells. In Microsoft word we can make our document into multiple columns.
Go to page layout => columns => you can select your own type of column ( one, two, three, left, right ).

We can also select more number of columns by clicking more columns and in that you can change any number of columns you want, you can also change width and space that each column can vary.

You can also check the check boxes of equal column width to get the column width is same in every column and line between to get the line in between columns.

Column Breaks :
Once you've created columns, the text will automatically flow from one column to the next. Sometimes, though you may want to control exactly where each column begins. You can do this by creating a column break.
To add column break place insertion point at the beginning of the text you want to move. Select page layout tab and then click the breaks command in drop down menu select column.

The text will move to the beginning of the column.
